Reporting

​In the interests of promoting a supportive learning environment for students the staff undertakes to report upon
student progress in the following ways:

Formal and Compulsory Reporting

  • At the beginning of the school year, the Administration Team will outline general directions for the school year.
  • On this evening the teachers will give an overview of curricula and the expectations of and for students.
  • Mid year a face to face 3 way conference will be held to discuss the individual student's progress. The class
  • teachers will be provided with non-contact time to give their full attention to this important report. A Student
  • Portfolio will be provided at this time.
  • At the end of Term 4 each student will receive their completed Student Portfolio. Opportunity will be available for parents/caregivers to discuss their child's Student Portfolio.
  • Mid year and end of year, each student will receive a report in accordance with Brisbane Catholic Education and the Federal Government reporting requirements.

Informal Reporting 

  • Parents may request an appointment to discuss their child's progress at any time during the school yea
  •  Teachers will contact the parents to arrange an appointment to discuss children's progress on a needs basis.
  •  The Principal or Assistant Principal may contact the parents to discuss a student's progress.
