Following the HUGE success of the Cake and Sweet Emporium at
last years Festival, we are on a mission to make this year’s bigger and better!
Kristi Dillon is back in a baking frenzy, and we need YOU to bake us all your favourites,
cakes, slices, biscuits, cookies, fudge, sweets, cupcakes, lamingtons, scones,
mini quiches, whatever you like! We need lots of volunteers to bake us yummy
treats, and also man the stalls on the day. Look out for information coming home in the blue note folders from Kristi Dillon, or contact her directly on email@example.com.
Last year saw an amazing array of beautiful, homemade craft
from funky jewellery to practical and eye catching shoulder bags. Join Leesa
Cunningham and Nat Clark in making a few items for the stall, or helping out on the day. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help. Spread the word to neighbours and grandparents for handmade goods they
can donate to the stall.
Bottle Bonana is shaping up to be a show day favourite for all ages. Pick a stick and reveal your star, only $2 to win a jar!
If you are lucky you'll find a Gold Star and get to pick from the major prize jars. Gold Star jars are aplenty - pick from the list, we have more than twenty.
With many thanks to our Festival supporters, our Gold Star prizes include:
Year 1 are running this popular stall, Jams and Chutneys.
Our stall needs your help! Call your Nan, call the Church, call the CWA, and
get those jams, chutneys, lemon butter, sauces rolling in. Thanks to our very
generous sponsors, Charlie's Fruit Market at Everton Park, donors don't even
have to buy their own fruit and vegies!
JARS JARS JARS – to assist this stall, please
start saving your jars, especially those with metal lids (wash and remove
labels). A drop off box will be placed near the library and empty jars can be stored in the P&F room for cooks to use – the
Committee has already started stockpiling these so please contact us if you
would like to get making!
Vintage on Hurdcotte
You know those
lovely, stylish women at OLA, well they are running our first ever pre-loved,
quality, stylish-clothing pop-up store. Please keep aside anything that you
feel they will want. It could be that item that simply doesn’t suit you
anymore, but it’s too good to throw away. It could find a new home courtesy of
this brand new, exciting stall, thanks to mums Michelle Nickelson & Shannon
