At home you may like to reinforce:
• how the letter looks (capital and lower case)
• how to write the letter correctly using Qld Cursive
• the letter name
• the letter sound
• look around your home and local environment for things which begin with the letter
Some class reminders:
Please ensure that your child’s hat and clothing is CLEARLY labelled! Spare clothes should be school uniform. These are able to be purchased from the OLA second hand shop located in Pender Hall. For your child’s school bag a distinctive “bag tag” with your child’s name is a great idea.
Please remember that Munch and Crunch needs to be a healthy choice of food that is easily held and consumed whilst working or playing.
Children’s drinks are required to be resealable and water is the preferred beverage.
Note bags are an essential means of communication and need to be checked each day.
